The new ERA carbon cranksets will satisfy demanding XC riders as well as lovers of trails and sharp enduro (during development they were tested in EWS enduro races).
At Race Face, they focused on development, looking for new materials, ideas and constructions. Newly designed pedal inserts are bonded directly to the carbon layer, making ERA cranks the strongest, strongest and most durable carbon cranks Race Face has ever developed.
They're among the lightest carbon cranksets in their class, while they'll look great for a long time thanks to the unique and equally practical upgrade of adding a metal guard seamlessly embedded into the crankset. Its purpose is more than obvious – to increase the resistance against scuffing by the shoe in a traditionally stressed area and to improve the overall lateral safety of the crank.
