Rock Machine Torrent 70-29 bike
Suitable not only for commuting, but also for weekend trips outside the city. You can ride on cycle paths, unpaved roads and in easy terrain. If you ride more demanding terrain or more frequently, you will need to fine-tune more often.
Aluminium frame
Lighter, relatively durable and stiff material that is affordable. The most widespread material for the production of bicycle frames.
Hydraulic disc brakes
Reliable in all conditions, better modulation of the braking effect with the use of less force on the lever. Heavier weight, more demanding service.
Air fork
The best option in terms of weight and comfort. Provides more adjustment options (rebound, compression). Requires regular service - the service cycle is specified by the manufacturer.
29” wheels
The advantage is better terrain passability, better rolling and traction. However, they are heavier, which also applies to tires.

All bicycles at the MTBIKER shop are new, not-ridden, from an official distributor and with a full warranty. Several brands even offer a lifetime warranty on the frame after registration. We perform all warranty services in MTBIKER stores after personal delivery or after sending the bike (or its part) by courier.
- The bicycle is taken out of the manufacturer's box
- The bicycle is assembled, inspected and adjusted (front and rear derailleur, shock, fork, wheels,...)
- The bicycle is carefully packaged back into a box and shipped
- If you order a bike for in-person pick-up or home delivery, the bike will be waiting for you assembled and checked
- If you order a bicycle via courier to your home address, the following must be done at home:
- Take the bike out of the box and carefully remove safety material and foils
- Mount handlebar to stem (1 minute, 4 or 5 mm hex hey is needed).
- Mount front wheel to fork (1 minute, without the need of any tools if the bike has a quick release).
- Loosen the screws in the headset, straighten the stem with the front wheel, tighten the upper screw on the fork and then tighten the headset (2 minutes, 4 or 5 mm hex key is needed).
- Mount the pedals to the cranks while lubricating the thread and carefully mounting it the right way (1 minute, 8 mm hex key or 15 mm wrench).
- Mount seat post to frame (10 seconds, without needing any tools if the frame has a quick link).
- Inflate the tires or fork and shock to desired pressure (2 minutes, pump needed).
- Check the tightening of hex keys and quick-releases (2 minutes, 4 and 5 mm hex key is needed).
- Go for a test drive! Handle your bicycle carefully until you get used to it. If the bike has disc brakes, their performance will be limited from now on - they will gain their full power after 4-5 strong brakes at higher speed.

Really great bike, perfect geometry. For me, an unrivaled composition of components in this price category. However, the fork is not supplied according to the specification, instead of a Suntour bike they supply a Rockshox of a comparable category and the fork is not controlled by the steering.
The only minus is individual, but for me the seat is completely unusable. It is also incomprehensible that the manufacturer did not include preparation for a telescopic seatpost in the frame, that is a pain in the ass for this bike... However, I bought it with this in mind and accepted a compromise in the form of a telescopic seatpost with controls directly under the seat.
Summary - in my opinion, the best hardtail in the category in terms of equipment, geometry and great design. Clean ground welds. The perfect reliable and durable bike for beginners for regular riding, mastering and improving technique. If you are looking for a good hardtail at a reasonable price to start with, torrent 70-29 is the top choice in this category in my opinion.
