All bicycles at the MTBIKER shop are new, not-ridden, from an official distributor and with a full warranty. Several brands even offer a lifetime warranty on the frame after registration. We perform all warranty services in MTBIKER stores after personal delivery or after sending the bike (or its part) by courier.

Our bike shipment is as follows:
  1. The bicycle is taken out of the manufacturer's box
  2. The bicycle is assembled, inspected and adjusted (front and rear derailleur, shock, fork, wheels,...)
  3. The bicycle is carefully packaged back into a box and shipped
  4. If you order a bike for in-person pick-up or home delivery, the bike will be waiting for you assembled and checked
  5. If you order a bicycle via courier to your home address, the following must be done at home:
    1. Take the bike out of the box and carefully remove safety material and foils
    2. Mount handlebar to stem (1 minute, 4 or 5 mm hex hey is needed).
    3. Mount front wheel to fork (1 minute, without the need of any tools if the bike has a quick release).
    4. Loosen the screws in the headset, straighten the stem with the front wheel, tighten the upper screw on the fork and then tighten the headset (2 minutes, 4 or 5 mm hex key is needed).
    5. Mount the pedals to the cranks while lubricating the thread and carefully mounting it the right way (1 minute, 8 mm hex key or 15 mm wrench).
    6. Mount seat post to frame (10 seconds, without needing any tools if the frame has a quick link).
    7. Inflate the tires or fork and shock to desired pressure (2 minutes, pump needed).
    8. Check the tightening of hex keys and quick-releases (2 minutes, 4 and 5 mm hex key is needed).
    9. Go for a test drive! Handle your bicycle carefully until you get used to it. If the bike has disc brakes, their performance will be limited from now on - they will gain their full power after 4-5 strong brakes at higher speed.

Variant Giant Fathom 29 1 bicykel, amber/glow

The bike is good, it was adjusted and the assembly of the few parts (wheels, handlebars, saddle) was easy. You can see that the bike was prepared and packed by someone who knows what they are doing. Small details like the intentionally loose screw of the lever to the seatpost with the guide that was not plugged into the frame are pleasing. I have not yet mounted a telescopic seatpost on a bike, but as soon as I noticed these details, I was immediately on the right track of how to get the guide from the seat tube to the seatpost.
There is just one small mistake that I would give the manufacturer a slap in the face for. Putting low-end RT-26 brake discs on a trail bike that match the Tourney groupset? Seriously? This bike should at least have discs that can handle sintered brake pads. It's not that the discs don't brake, but replacing the pads with sintered ones is very likely on such a bike.

PS
On the other hand, I bought the bike mainly because of what the components are hung on (travel, geometry, dropper post and it's 1x12 in the base). For example, the derailleur is more of a "placeholder" for me, which I will replace as soon as I inevitably smash the current derailleur on some gravel .
