In cyclocross races, each lesser advantage over rivals plays a role. Competitors need a bike that will perfectly handle fast starts, sharp turns, artificial obstacles and passes through sand, mud or mash. Our legendary TCX cyclocross special, thoroughly tested by top World Cup racers, has received several major improvements to make it even faster and more efficient than its previous generations.
For cyclocross racers, they will be satisfied only with such a wheel that will allow them to give the best performance regardless of the conditions on the track. The all-new TCX Advanced Pro is an uncompromising racing machine that meets all their requirements. The completely redesigned Superlight carbon frame made of Advanced Composite material has a specific cyclocross geometry as well as asymmetrical rear struts for optimal energy transfer. The D-Fuse seatpost helps to "smooth out" unevenness and dampen vibrations thanks to its "D" shape. The higher TCX Advanced Pro 1 has a new all-carbon variant of this D-Fuse SLR seatpost, which is 20 percent more flexible than the D-Fuse carbon seatpost with aluminum lock (for the TCX Advanced Pro 2). However, a fundamental novelty is the possibility to use a standard 30.9 mm round seatpost - thanks to this, you can also install a telescopic seatpost on the bicycle, if required by your riding style or the terrain you ride. Other innovations include the very light Giant SLR-2 WheelSystem with carbon rims (for the higher model). Both offered models are fitted with tubeless Maxxis All-Terrano tires in the size of 700x33c - the wheels are made from the factory in a tubeless finish, all you have to do is apply a tubeless putty. Of course, there are also powerful hydraulic disc brakes with flat grips (so-called Flat-mount standard), as well as a 12 mm fixed axle for high rigidity.
MAIN BENEFITS:
Low weight and high rigidity
The new Advanced Composite carbon frame is significantly lighter than the previous generation - in exact numbers it is now 850 grams versus 1050 grams, in the case of the fork it is 400 grams versus 460 grams. However, the high rigidity of the frame and fork was, of course, maintained.
Excellent handling
Hydraulic disc brakes provide strong braking power and smooth modulation, which significantly improves bicycle control. The brakes are secured with flat-mount mounts and a 12mm fixed axle provides the necessary rigidity. The OverDrive 2 steering column increases the rigidity of the steering and thus improves the maneuverability of the bicycle.
High comfort
Thanks to its "D" shape, the D-Fuse carbon seatpost dampens vibrations better than a classic round seatpost, making driving much more comfortable. However, a novelty is the possibility to use a standard 30.9 mm round seatpost - thanks to this, you can also install a telescopic seatpost on the bike, which you will especially appreciate on downhill runs.

All bicycles at the MTBIKER shop are new, not-ridden, from an official distributor and with a full warranty. Several brands even offer a lifetime warranty on the frame after registration. We perform all warranty services in MTBIKER stores after personal delivery or after sending the bike (or its part) by courier.
- The bicycle is taken out of the manufacturer's box
- The bicycle is assembled, inspected and adjusted (front and rear derailleur, shock, fork, wheels,...)
- The bicycle is carefully packed back into a box and shipped
- If you order a bicycle for in store pick up or home delivery, the bicycle will be waiting put together, checked and ready to use for you.
- If you order a bicycle via courier to your home address, the following must be done at home:
- Take the bike out of the box and carefully remove safety material and foils
- Mount handlebar to stem (1 minute, 4 or 5 mm hex hey is needed).
- Mount front wheel to fork (1 minute, without the need of any tools if the bike has a quick release).
- Loosen the screws in the headset, straighten the stem with the front wheel, tighten the upper screw on the fork and then tighten the headset (2 minutes, 4 or 5 mm hex key is needed).
- Mount the pedals to the cranks while lubricating the thread and carefully mounting it the right way (1 minute, 8 mm hex key or 15 mm wrench).
- Mount seatpost to frame (10 seconds, without needing any tools if the frame has a quick link).
- Inflate the tyres or fork and shock to desired pressure (2 minutes, pump needed).
- Check the tightening of hex keys and quick-releases (2 minutes, 4 and 5 mm hex key is needed).
- Go for a test drive! Handle your bicycle carefully until you get used to it. If the bike has disc brakes, their performance will be limited from now on - they will gain their full power after 4-5 strong brakes at higher speed.
