Product description
1. Thoroughly wash your bike/motorcycle using Nano Tech Bike Cleaner, Punk Powder or Snow Foam and ensure it is completely dry before starting the coating process.
2. Depending on the condition of the paint or surface, carry out the appropriate level of paint correction to remove all defects including swirl marks, water spots and scratches. Keep in mind that this product is very durable and will seal in any imperfections.
3. Remove any excess paint correction or wax/polish residue by wiping down all painted surfaces with the Surface Prep spray. Simply spray onto a microfibre cloth and wipe.
CERAMIC COATING APPLICATION:
1. We recommend applying the coating in a cool, dry, clean area, indoors with good lighting and ventilation. For non-factory finishes, test a small inconspicuous area before fully covering.
2. Shake the bottle vigorously for 10 seconds to activate the formula.
3. We recommend wearing protective gloves when applying the coating.
4. Unscrew the child-resistant cap and then apply the coating sparingly and evenly over the supplied microfibre applicator pad. (A small amount of coating is very effective).
5. Start on the highest areas, applying in a crosshatch '#' pattern, overlapping to ensure all areas are covered. We recommend limiting application areas to approximately the size of 1 bike tube/panel at a time. Relax and don't rush, apply slowly and carefully for the best results.
6. If the coating is not applying evenly and or the applicator is not gliding smoothly over the surface, add additional coating to the applicator pad.
7. Allow the wet coating to cure for 5 minutes. During this time, the coated surface will take on a rainbow appearance. During this time, check that you have covered all areas. Using the supplied microfibre cloth, lightly buff the surface using small circular motions to a high gloss and mirror finish. Be sure to check the surface in multiple lighting angles to ensure all rainbow effects have been removed. Do not let the wet coating cure for longer than 5 minutes and ensure it has all been buffed off.
8. Once buffed, allow the coating to fully cure for 24 hours in a cool, dry place before exposing it to water or the elements. (For best results and adhesion, we do not recommend washing for at least 48 hours after application).
9. You can easily layer the coating with a second application for even longer durability, simply follow the coating application instructions above after the first layer has fully cured. No need to re-prep.
10. Consume within 6 months of opening

MAINTENANCE/CLEANING:
1. For correct ceramic coating maintenance, we recommend cleaning using only our Nano Tech Bike Cleaner, Punk Powder or Snow Foam. Avoid using any other solvents or acidic cleaners as these will break down the coating much faster.
2. Keeping the surface clean will ensure the hydrophobic properties of the coating are maintained.
3. If you notice the surface starting to lose some of its water-repelling hydrophobic properties over time, you can simply top up and restore the coating. We recommend topping up the coating every 6 months to maintain optimal performance.
