SL (Slim Line) collection: Women's cut
Shorter cut
The SL back length is specific for women: on average, women have shorter backs than men. The carrying system in the SL model is therefore somewhat shorter than in the Deuter standard backpacks. In addition, the carrying system is specially adapted to the female anatomy.
Narrower shoulder straps
The SL shoulder straps have a pronounced S-shape and soft edges all around. In addition, the ends of the straps are narrow. For a perfect fit in the shoulder area – nothing pinches or rubs. Straps that are close together are tailored to the narrower female shoulders.
I am a man. Can I wear the SL backpack?
Yes! The SL cut is based on an average woman's body. Since not every woman is “average”, our standard models may fit some women. It is the same around. SL cut may fit some men:
- with slender figure, except for unisex cut
- with long legs, because they have shorter back
- with clothing sizes 44 - 48 (S/M)
Our Extra Long (EL) backpacks guarantee perfect carrying comfort for tall people! Athletes who are between 1.85 and 2.00 metres have difficulty finding backpacks that fit. That is why we have lengthened the back lengths of the most popular Deuter backpack models by 6 cm to 9 cm and adjusted them to the proportions of taller people.
Due to the larger space requirement, we have also adjusted the volume of the EL models: the size of these backpacks is therefore optimally tailored to the wearer. The back system, properties, and details of the individual EL backpacks correspond to the standard models.

Deuter je moja najobľúbenejšia značka práve pre maličkosti, ktorými ruksaky disponujú. Compact EXP14 nie je výnimkou, ideálny batoh na bike vďaka geometrii, pohodlne sa nosí aj naplnený hmotnosťou 8kg (ale kríže vám nepoďakujú), poskytuje dostatok úložného priestoru na celodenný výlet a poteší aj dostatok priehradiek pre lepšiu organizáciu "cárachov". Azda jedinú výtku dostane odomňa držiak na slnečné okuliare, kam sa veľmi problematicky vsúvajú okuliare so širšou lícnicou (typicky športové okuliare).

Vynikajúci ruksak s množstvom priehradok a praktických vychytávok. Dizajn je špičkový ako aj kvalita materiálov. Pre nadmerne sa potiacich je slušne riešené aj vetranie na chrbte, hoci mokrému dresu v kopci sa dá sotva vyhnúť. Skvelá vec je aj systém na uchytenie prilby na prednej časti vaku.
