Sportful SUPERGIARA WINTER socks
Sportful Supergiara Winter Gravel socks are designed for winter months and transitional periods, when warmth is as important as resistance to impact and moisture. Their base is merino wool, which creates a stable thermal microclimate without unnecessary bulk. The wool naturally regulates temperature, wicks away moisture, and remains functional even when wet, which is essential for long winter rides on gravel. The rest is a blend of polyamide and elastane, which provides shape retention and abrasion resistance. In the lower part, there is an integrated soft foam layer with a porous structure that dampens vibrations from pedals and terrain irregularities. This element has a precisely defined density. It is not soft, but elastic, so it does not affect direct contact of the foot with the shoe sole.The construction uses two types of knit, which create a balance between support, ventilation, and comfort. In the lower part, a denser ribbed knit that stabilizes the sock and reinforces stressed areas. In the upper part, a looser, more elastic knit that facilitates airflow and adapts to the calf without constricting. Reinforced heel and toe resist repeated contact with the inside of the shoe, while elastic zones around the instep prevent the sock from moving during pedaling.
