The Sportful Supergiara Winter Gravel Socks are designed for the winter months and transitional periods, when warmth is as important as resistance to impact and moisture. They are based on merino wool, which creates a stable thermal microclimate without unnecessary bulk. Wool naturally regulates temperature, wicks away moisture, and remains functional even when wet, which is essential for long winter rides on gravel. The rest is a blend of polyamide and elastane, which provides shape retention and abrasion resistance. The bottom has an integrated soft foam layer with a spongy structure that dampens vibrations from the pedals and uneven terrain. This element has a precisely given density. It is not soft, but flexible, so it does not affect the direct contact of the foot with the sole of the shoe.The construction uses two types of knit fabric that create a balance between support, ventilation and comfort. At the bottom, a denser ribbed knit stabilizes the sock and reinforces stressed areas. The upper features a looser, more flexible knit that facilitates airflow and a snug fit. The reinforced heel and toe resist repeated contact with the inside of the shoe, while stretch zones around the instep prevent socks from moving while pedaling.
