Ultra-lightweight, maximally breathable aero sock with a high cut that will help you shave time in the cycling portion of a triathlon race.
The main aspect of these socks are the aerodynamic lines in the front, which have been tested in a wind tunnel. The iconic bumps are represented here by new AERO-DOTS, designed from the ankle to the upper hem of the sock to reduce turbulence and drag at the back of the sock. This will save you a few more watts.
The structure of the foot section mirrors the running ultralight model. The lightweight, technical mesh is designed to fit literally like a second skin on your foot. These socks offer exceptional ventilation and very quickly wick sweat and moisture away from the foot. The completely new toe box offers a more ergonomic fit for your toes and improved proprioception, allowing the toes to adopt an intuitive position upon impact for a smooth, natural stride. The toe area is additionally enriched with terry padding.
Enhanced arch support is a given. It not only supports microcirculation but, above all, prevents the sock from twisting inside the shoe. The sock thus stays exactly in place while simultaneously preventing the formation of blisters and unpleasant pressure marks.
In the rear part of the sock, the ultra-thin mesh ensures the best possible breathability. In the Achilles tendon area, two rows of 3D-DOTS bumps are designed for maximum support during cycling and running. The cut of the aero socks is even higher than the tri version for optimal aerodynamic performance. However, while respecting the limits of the International Cycling Union UCI.
The upper hem has silicone dots designed along its inner circumference to maintain its position even during running.
