The new generation of Aero Socks 2.0 is designed for speed and optimized for performance. The socks draw inspiration from the R2 Aero 2.0 calf sleeves, which were tested in a wind tunnel. They feature innovative Aero.Stripes and Aero.dots on the front and small Terry.dots on the calf, which increase micro-turbulence and reduce air resistance.
The socks are made from state-of-the-art Payen yarn and are now even lighter, more breathable and more aerodynamic than previous versions. The foot structure copies the design of the ultralight v4.0 Ultralight running socks with lightweight breathable stripes for optimal ventilation and thermoregulation in hot conditions. A redesigned ergonomic toe box enhances comfort, while an improved terry heel and 360-degree support knit improve proprioception and stability at high intensity.
Under the foot is a clever pattern composed of 50% 3D.Dots and 50% mesh.dots. It increases ventilation, absorbs shocks and improves grip in the shoe. The characteristic arch support improves blood circulation and prevents twisting and bunching of the material, thus preventing blisters and irritation during prolonged performances.
Anti-slip silicone dots on the inside of the upper hem prevent slipping and ensure a secure fit of the sock when transitioning between triathlon disciplines. With a higher cut for aerodynamic benefits and unmatched comfort, the Aero Socks 2.0 are the best choice for triathlons, time trials and fast cycling events.
