The Gabba was created for racing in the rain, and now the Gabba R does it better than ever. But if you're like most riders and use the Gabba primarily in dry conditions, DO.DI.CI. is a jacket that is made just for you. The fact that the Gabba was created for racing in the rain means that breathability has been limited to ensure maximum protection from water. If you don't ride in the rain, why not increase the breathability in an effort to make a better dry weather jacket?
The secret lies in Castelli Ristretto technology. We took breathability into account during development and created a material that is windproof but allows very little air through the fabric, allowing for better evaporation of sweat and keeping you dry. Exactly how much air does it let through? DO.DI.CI. It means "twelve" in Italian, because this jacket lets in 12 times more air than the old Gabba. It's like the difference between drying cycling pants in a cold, damp basement and in a room with a light breeze.
The fabric is extremely elastic, so you have an unbeatable fit. What about rain? The fabric will keep out light spray from the wheels, but if rain threatens while you're riding, you can pack an Ultra Rain Cape or Squall Shell Jacket in the middle pocket. Available in short and long sleeve versions.
