Giant Anthem X Advanced SL 2 29 bike

The new generation of the Giant Anthem X Advanced SL 2 is characterized as an ultralight and super-fast trail bike, or it can be classified as a downcountry bike. It is designed to offer surprising speed and addictive off-road fun. This model differs from the sporty Anthem model in that it has a higher fork travel, which also affects the slightly different geometry, and has integrated storage space in the frame.

The completely redesigned top-of-the-line Advanced SL Composite carbon frame is lighter than its predecessor and also has a higher stiffness-to-weight ratio, which increases efficiency, especially on climbs. The frames are manufactured using Continuous Fiber Technology, which increases strength and minimizes weight. Thanks to the low latency concept, a systematic approach to maximizing the efficiency of the rider's power transfer, Anthem responds without hesitation and with maximum efficiency.

The key innovation is the new FlexPoint Pro suspension concept with a semi-integrated shock located under the top frame tube. This design, using a single carbon rocker arm, reduces frame weight and improves suspension performance, ensuring that bumps are absorbed without losing energy at maximum performance. The rear suspension travel is 120 mm and the fork travel is 130 mm, which, together with the two-position Flip Chip system, allows you to adjust the geometry according to the terrain or personal preferences for faster and more confident descents. There is also space in the frame for a second bottle cage.

All bicycles at the MTBIKER shop are new, not-ridden, from an official distributor and with a full warranty. Several brands even offer a lifetime warranty on the frame after registration. We perform all warranty services in MTBIKER stores after personal delivery or after sending the bike (or its part) by courier.

Our bike shipment is as follows:
  1. The bicycle is taken out of the manufacturer's box
  2. The bicycle is assembled, inspected and adjusted (front and rear derailleur, shock, fork, wheels,...)
  3. The bicycle is carefully packaged back into a box and shipped
  4. If you order a bike for in-person pick-up or home delivery, the bike will be waiting for you assembled and checked
  5. If you order a bicycle via courier to your home address, the following must be done at home:
    1. Take the bike out of the box and carefully remove safety material and foils
    2. Mount handlebar to stem (1 minute, 4 or 5 mm hex hey is needed).
    3. Mount front wheel to fork (1 minute, without the need of any tools if the bike has a quick release).
    4. Loosen the screws in the headset, straighten the stem with the front wheel, tighten the upper screw on the fork and then tighten the headset (2 minutes, 4 or 5 mm hex key is needed).
    5. Mount the pedals to the cranks while lubricating the thread and carefully mounting it the right way (1 minute, 8 mm hex key or 15 mm wrench).
    6. Mount seat post to frame (10 seconds, without needing any tools if the frame has a quick link).
    7. Inflate the tires or fork and shock to desired pressure (2 minutes, pump needed).
    8. Check the tightening of hex keys and quick-releases (2 minutes, 4 and 5 mm hex key is needed).
    9. Go for a test drive! Handle your bicycle carefully until you get used to it. If the bike has disc brakes, their performance will be limited from now on - they will gain their full power after 4-5 strong brakes at higher speed.
