The RockShox Vivid Coil Ultimate RC2T is a top-of-the-line coil shock developed specifically for the Santa Cruz Megatower 2 frame (from model year 2022). It brings the typical, very sensitive performance of a steel spring at the beginning of the stroke, firm support in the middle part and certainty during hard impacts thanks to the adjustable stop at the end of the stroke. The shock is tuned to work perfectly with the Charger 3.2 suspension forks and offers a wide range of fine individual adjustment options for enduro, downhill and e-MTB.

 

Adjustable compression and rebound damping allows you to tailor the shock's behavior to different riding styles and rider weights, while a newly designed internal base valve reduces internal forces, improves sensitivity, and maintains traction in technical terrain. Thanks to the Adjustable Bottom-Out (ABO) system, you can easily adjust the hardness of the last part of the stroke without negatively affecting the beginning and middle of the stroke.

  • Compression tuning consistent with the philosophy of Charger 3.2 suspension forks for a balanced ride throughout the bike
  • Adjustable Bottom-Out (ABO) system allows you to fine-tune the progression in the last percentages of the stroke in five levels
  • Numbered compression knob for clear and intuitive adjustment
  • Redesigned base valve reduces internal forces for a more responsive start and better traction
  • Up to 20 steps of rebound adjustment for consistent ride across a wide range of rider weights
  • Removable rebound knob also used to fine-tune high-speed compression and ABO function
  • Spring and possible bearing adapter for standard shock absorber eyes are available separately
