- Before riding on busy streets, be thoroughly familiar with starting a bicycle with an auxiliary electric motor. You may start the bike unexpectedly, which may cause an accident.
- Be careful not to get parts of your clothing caught in the chain while driving. You may fall and be seriously injured.
- Do not touch the sprockets, gears and chain with your fingers.
- If they get caught in the drive train, you can seriously injure them.
- Before riding a bicycle, make sure that the front and rear lights can be turned on.

-Before wiring or mounting parts on the bicycle, remove the battery and charging cable. Failure to do so may result in electric shock.
- Avoid touching a drive unit that has been in continuous use for an extended period of time. The surface of the drive unit will become hot and contact with it may cause burns.
- Clean the chain regularly with a suitable chain cleaner. Maintenance intervals depend on usage and riding conditions.
-Never use alkali or acid-based solvents, such as rust removers. If a solvent is used, the chain may break and cause serious injury.

- Use only genuine SHIMANO parts. If a component or replacement part is not installed or adjusted correctly, it may lead to component failure and cause the rider to lose control of the bicycle and fall.
