RockShox SID Ultimate Race Day - 3P Remote 29" suspension fork

The RockShox SID Ultimate Race Day is a top-of-the-line XC suspension fork, designed for maximum performance on both climbs and technical descents. It offers a lightweight and stiff construction with an inner leg diameter of 35 mm, which makes it excellent at tracking even during aggressive riding. The latest Charger Race Day 2 damping with three compression positions and DebonAir+ air suspension provide high sensitivity, mid-stroke support and the ability to fine-tune to the rider's style.

SK Mám viac otázok:

1. Aké je použité uzamykanie vidlice z riadidiel? Je to twistloc? Pretože meno twistloc vôbec nevyhovuje, chcem používať vlastné gripy.

2.Existuje adekvátna funkčná náhrada za twistloc v tvare štandardnej páčky na riadidlách?

3. Sa mi zdá, že tento SID má tri polohy uzamykanie - zamknutie, neúplné zamknutie a otvorenie. Je to tak?

SK Dobry den prajem,

ano, tento model vidlice disponuje patronou s 3-polohovym dialkovym uzamykanim (tzv. Open / Pedal / Lock polohy).
Ano, defaultne je zial k vidlici urcena TwistLoc packa (tah lanka 7 + 7 mm), alternativu k nej RS neponuka.

SK Dobry den, ako sa da znizit zdvyh na 110mm prosim? Treba extra kit kratsej vzduch.patrony?
Vedeli by ste ju dodat takto upravenu?
Ide o to, ze na xc bike so zdvihom 100mm chcem robustnejsie nohy 35mm, kvoli zvyseniu tuhosti.
Zmena na 120 by uz podla mna posunula geometriu vyraznejsie, preto tych 110mm.

SK Dakujem za info. Aktualna SID Select+ 100mm, rocnik 2022.
S.N.: 33T10625346
Bike je Giant XTC SL. Otazka je kolko mm by realne 120 zdvih asi urobil na vyske predku.

SK Pokial sa teda jedna o konstrukcne rovnaku vidlicu, tak predna cast by sa logicky zdvihla pri zvyseni zdvihu o 2 cm rovnako o 2 cm. Okrem polozenejsieho hlavoveho uhla (co by v zasade nemusel byt az taky problem) sa vsak zmeni aj sedlovy uhol - urcite sa to moze prejavit v zhorsenom slapani, najma v strmsich vyslapoch, prip. bude urcite potrebne doladit polohu a sklon sedla. XTCcko je cisty zavodak, skor by som subjektivne naozaj do tych 120 mm skor nesiel...
