Zadné cestné koleso Zipp 404 S Disc 28" je navrhnuté pre maximálnu rýchlosť a efektivitu pri zachovaní výbornej stability v bočnom vetre. Stredne vysoký ráfik s výškou 50 mm vychádza z osvedčeného tvaru Firecrest a prináša aerodynamický výkon na úrovni top modelov, pričom v porovnaní s modelom 303 S šetrí približne 2 watty. Vnútorná šírka ráfika 23 mm je optimalizovaná pre plášte so šírkou 28–39 mm, ktoré možno jazdiť pri nižších tlakoch pre lepší valivý odpor, komfort a kontrolu na rôznych povrchoch. Koleso je určené pre kotúčové brzdy so štandardom Center Lock a zadnú os 12x142 mm, vybavené orechom Shimano HG.
