Rear road wheel, carbon rim 58 mm, tire design, 2x crossed string, weight only 850 g.

Following on from the highly successful 808 NSW model, which won the Ironman® World Championship and the women's team time trial at the World Cup, Zipp began developing new 404 NSW wheels on lower and more versatile rims. Excellent braking performance, exceptional aerodynamics and excellent cornering stability have been maintained. But what has been significantly improved is the better stability of the wheels in crosswinds. The combination of these features has made the 404 NSW wheels the number one rider in popularity.

Of course, Zipp Cognition hubs are also essential for excellent aerodynamic properties. They rotate on high-quality industrial bearings and are connected to the rims by 18 SAPI CX-Ray spokes in the radial string at the front and 24 CX-Ray spokes in 2x crossed string at the rear.

The sophisticated Axial Clutch latch system ensures perfect grip of the rear wheel.
