The SLR 2 42 Disc WheelSystem road wheels with carbon rims with a height of 42 mm are designed and manufactured to offer high resistance at a low weight and also excellent driving characteristics. Modern hookless technology, which consists in the fact that the feet of the rim do not have "hooks", increases the overall durability of the rim and makes it possible to achieve a larger internal width without increasing the weight. Thanks to a very interesting price-performance ratio, the SLR 2 42 wheels are an ideal choice for those cyclists who require at least a compromise between price, weight and durability. This variant of SLR 2 42 wheels is designed for disc brakes, there is also a variant for rim brakes.

Rim parameters: height 42 mm, outer width 23 mm, inner width 19.4 mm (ETRTO: 622-19)
Giant Tubeless System - rims are tubeless (tape and valves are part of the set)
Front hub: Giant Alloy, sealed bearings
Rear hub: Giant Alloy, encapsulated bearings, Shimano HG nut, ratchet system (3-Pawl 30T)
The rear hub is also compatible with the SRAM XDR nut (separately on Bizen)
Hubs are designed for fixed axles: front 100x12 mm, rear 142x12 mm
Fixing discs with the Centerlock system
Wires: SAPI Sprint, 24 wires front and rear, Alloy nipples

Giant was established in 1971 in Taiwan, they are one of the largest bicycle producers in the world. In the beginning, they made bikes for other companies. Since 1981 Giant has been supplying the market with bicycles under their name. They were one of the first companies to start mass production of carbon framesets. Liv is their brand for bikes for women offering MTB, road and gravel bikes. Components are also included in their offer as well as wheelsets under the name Cadex (their brand name).
