WARNING
- This wheel is equipped with a quick release hub to facilitate installation and removal. Failure to follow the instructions for correct installation of this quick release hub (wheel) to the bicycle can cause the wheel to detach from the bicycle while riding, resulting in serious personal injury.
- Use a front fork equipped with a wheel retention mechanism.
- BE SURE TO THOROUGHLY READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE QUICK RELEASE HUB IN THE SERVICE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE. If there are any questions, ask your dealer. INCORRECT INSTALLATION OF THE HUB MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY.
- Before riding the bicycle, check that the wheels are securely fastened. If the quick release lever is not used properly, the wheel may come off and so lead to a serious injury by falling.
- If the quick release mechanism is not used correctly, the wheel may come off the bicycle and a serious accident may result. Read the service instructions for the quick release mechanism carefully before use.
CAUTION
Only tighten and loosen the quick release lever by hand. Never use any tools such as hammers to tighten the quick release lever, as this may damage it.
Never tighten the wheel to the frame by turning the quick release lever as shown in the illustration on the right. Simply turning the lever in a circular motion will not tighten the wheel to the frame. Detachment of the wheel due to incorrect hub installation may result in serious personal injury.
