Like all NEWMEN EVOLUTION components, this rim is made from a strong duralumin alloy AL6061 for excellent mechanical properties combined with low weight. Thanks to the widened lugs, it keeps the tire more rounded for better cornering grip. The material is placed precisely at critical points and taken elsewhere. The nipple beds are designed to work with our special washers for extremely high beam stress values while keeping the amount of material used to a minimum. In contrast, due to increased strength and durability, the lugs are significantly thicker than on other rims in the same weight class. The perfect rim for wide, light and fast wheels, which is suitable for tires from 2.35" to 2.6".
