Top duralumin rim for enduro and downhill. The Evolution EG35 rim is specially designed to withstand the stress of enduro and DH.
Like all NEWMEN EVOLUTION SL components, this super durable rim is designed to withstand the toughest enduro and DH riding. Based on our lightweight and durable NEWMEN Evolution SL rims, we've made the profile even stronger and the result is the Evolution EG the rims are extremely resistant to damage. In fact, they are 40% more durable than the SL A.35. Thanks to the extended lugs, it keeps the tire more rounded for better cornering grip. The material is distributed precisely in critical points and removed elsewhere. The nipple beds are designed to work with our special washers for extremely high beam stress values ​​while keeping the amount of material used to a minimum. On the other hand, due to increased strength and durability, the lugs are significantly thicker than on other rims in the same weight class. A perfect rim for wide, light and fast wheels, which is suitable for tires from 2.35" to 2.8". Combined with our Newmen Fade hubs and Sapim Race spokes (2.0-1.8-2.0), durable and lightweight wheels can be assembled.
