WARNING
- This wheel is equipped with a quick release hub for easy installation and removal. Failure to properly install this quick release hub (wheel) to the bicycle can cause the wheel to come off of the bicycle while riding, resulting in serious personal injury.
- Use a front fork equipped with a wheel retention mechanism.
- BE SURE TO CAREFULLY READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE QUICK RELEASE HUB IN THE SERVICE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE. If there are any questions, ask your dealer. INCORRECT INSTALLATION OF THE HUB MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY.
- Before riding the bicycle, check that the wheels are securely fastened. If the quick release lever is not used properly, the wheel may come off and so on, and serious injury may result from falling.
- If the quick release mechanism is not used correctly, the wheel may come off the bicycle and serious injury may result. Read the service instructions for the quick release mechanism carefully before use.
CAUTION
Only tighten and loosen the quick release lever by hand. Never use tools such as hammers to tighten the quick release lever, as this could damage it.
Never tighten the wheel to the frame by turning the quick release lever as shown in the illustration on the right. Simply turning the lever in a circular motion will not tighten the wheel to the frame. Wheel detachment due to improper hub installation may result in serious personal injury.
