CAUTION – Failure to follow the instructions could result in personal injury, or physical damage to equipment and surroundings.
WARNING
- Do not disassemble or modify the product. This may cause the product to not operate correctly, and you may fall unexpectedly and be seriously injured.
- Before riding the bicycle, check that the wheels are securely fastened. If the quick release lever is not used correctly, the wheel may come off and so on, and a serious accident could result from a fall or collision.
- Before riding the bicycle, you should check the hubs and make sure that there are no cracks in the axles; if you find any unusual conditions, do not ride the bicycle. This front hub is designed for downhill riding and freeriding. However, depending on riding conditions, cracks can form in the hub axle, which can result in axle failure. This can lead to an accident which could result in serious injury or even death.
- This hub can only be used in combination with a dedicated front fork and E-THRU. If it is used in combination with any other front fork or hub axle, the wheel may become detached from the bicycle during riding, resulting in serious injury.
- When installing the front wheel to a front suspension fork, always follow the instructions in the front suspension fork's instruction manual. The securing method as well as the tightening torque of the front wheel differ depending on the type of front suspension fork used. Failure to follow the instructions may cause the front wheel to come off, resulting in serious injury.
- Check that the quick release lever does not interfere with the disc brake rotor even when it is fully engaged. If the quick release lever is on the disc brake rotor side, it may interfere with the disc brake rotor, which is dangerous. If the quick release lever interferes with the disc brake rotor, stop using it immediately and consult the place of purchase or a distributor.
