The Hope Pre 4 cartridge is the successor to the highly successful Pre 2 Evo cartridges and brings three main improvements. They use a new 44-tooth ratcheting mechanism, which makes the onset of power transfer when pedaling 10% faster than the Pre 2 Evo hubs. The second change is taller hub flanges for more stiffness when using the wider tires that are the trend now. The last major change is the new nut, which is ready for Shimano's new 11-speed cassettes.
