FFWD RYOT44 wheel set

The top all-round model in the FFWD offer uses a rim with LAW TECH technology, where LAW stands for " Laminar Airflow Wing ". This proprietary FFWD design optimizes aerodynamics and stiffness especially when used with wider shoes. The wheels are designed for universal use on road and gravel and are optimized for perfect power transmission and airflow. The used external brass nipples facilitate serviceability and increase the durability of the wheels. The string consists of DT Aerolite tips in a ratio of 2:1, which contributes to a better distribution of tension in the string. The whole is complemented by FFWD 2:1 Straightpull hubs (modeled after DT Swiss 350). These hubs have a new version of the ratchet system EXP, which reduces the number of parts, increases the stiffness of the hub by up to 15% and reduces its weight. Within modern wide universal braided wheels, this is a unique ratio between excellent performance and price.
