FFWD RYOT 55 TEAM TECH 28" wheel set

The top aero model in the FFWD offer uses a rim with TEAM TECH technology and is intended primarily for competition use. While tubeless tires definitely dominate in amateur and hobby sports, tubular wheels are still the number one choice in the professional peloton. RYOT 55 TEAM TECH are developed in close cooperation with teams from the professional peloton. Feedback from top-level professionals is of great value, resulting in a special edition of wheels. This proprietary FFWD design optimizes aerodynamics and stiffness especially when used with wider shoes. The used external brass nipples facilitate serviceability and increase the durability of the wheels. The string consists of DT Aerolite/Aerocomp tips in a ratio of 2:1, which contributes to a better distribution of tension in the string. The whole is complemented by newly developed FFWD TWO/ONE Straightpull hubs. These hubs have a new version of the ratchet system with 36 teeth, an oversize drive side bearing and a double seal similar to the DT240 hubs. Within modern wide universal braided wheels, this is a unique ratio between excellent performance and price.
