FFWD DRIFT Carbon wheelset

The DRIFT model is the first of a new line of FFWD wheels designed specifically for gravel and off-road riding. The development here focused on slightly different parameters than similar road bikes. The weight here must go hand in hand with the stiffness and especially the durability of the rim and string. The rims were therefore specially developed to accommodate wide tires and withstand not only impacts from them, but also stones rolling over the rim. The components of these wheels form a whole that you can rely on in the field and at the same time they will shoot you forward with their properties.

The use of brass nipples, especially in off-road applications, significantly increases the life of the string
The most durable aerowires from DT Swiss - specifically the Aerocomp model - were chosen for the string
The carbon in these rims is woven in a different way and makes them much more durable
