Bicycle tires and tubes

When choosing tires, the correct size is important, most often given as the inner diameter and its width (in mm or inches). In addition to tires of various designs and purposes, you can also choose tubulars (suitable rims are required) and tire caps ("tubulars" for tire rims). For larger sizes, check the recommendations of your component manufacturers. For some tires, you will find a TPI (thread count per inch) number. The higher the number, the lighter the tire and with less rolling resistance, but also less durable. A popular variant is the tubeless version, this information is given with the product. When selecting a tube, pick the correct size, valve height (due to the height of the rim) and its type (Schrader, Presta).
