Pirelli P ZERO Race 26-622 (700x26C) black kevlar
The most powerful universal road tire in the Pirelli product line.
The Pirelli P Zero Race road tire is the result of three years of development and cooperation with the fastest racers on the World Tour. It takes full advantage of the design with the use of a tube in a universal tire ready for racing, making it more powerful than all previous road tires and even Pirelli galoshes. This new inner tube also features the innovative SmartEVO rubber compound and TechBELT braid construction technology. It is suitable not only for professional but also recreational cyclists.
Casing features:
excellent handling, top speed, best grip
innovative SmartEVO rubber compound
TechBELT braid construction
main use: performance and endurance / endurance bicycles, marginal time trials
season: spring, summer, autumn, marginally winter
SmartEVO
An innovative rubber compound that uses a blend of three different polymers, each of which provides specific performance qualities to achieve an optimal balance of opposing properties such as adhesion and rolling resistance. Pirelli has used its knowledge and experience from more than a century of development of rubber compounds for motorsport. These products have always been used in top-level races in all disciplines. Extensive knowledge from the development and racing departments has made it possible to create a triple polymer blend with clever performance for bicycle tires and forms the basis for the excellent properties of the SmartEVO blend: better dry and wet grip and lower rolling resistance. This performance rubber compound has been designed and tuned for all disciplines of modern road cycling, from local or World Tour races to epic adventures, where the climate and diverse surfaces require tires that work reliably at the highest level under any circumstances.
TechBELT
High-performance braid structure with an added layer of fabric, which is located under the tread and provides high resistance to cutting. As a result, the sheath can provide puncture resistance in a wide range of conditions. The combination of this layer and the layers of the braid frame makes it possible to achieve the most effective rolling resistance and weight parameters for this construction for use with the core.

PSI - indicates the pressure to which the manufacturer recommends inflating the tire. 1 atmosphere = 14.7 PSI
TPI (EPI) - the density of the shell's skeleton fibres. The higher the TPI value, the more flexible and flexible the tire will be.
Kevlar tire - foot made of Kevlar fibres. The cover can be folded, so it is more practical when moving or storing. It is characterized by a lower weight compared to wire casings and a higher resistance to puncture.
Wire tire - bead made of wire. The shell is inflexible, it is heavier than the Kevlar one.
