Pirelli Scorpion XC RC 29x2.4" ProWALL SmartGRIP tire, TLR, kevlar, red
29x2.4" tubeless XC tire with a finer pattern. The SmartGRIP rubber compound guarantees a long service life and excellent grip under any conditions. The ProWALL construction is characterized by increased protection against punctures and sidecuts and high speed.
SmartGRIP
Top rubber compound, which is the result of Pirelli's many years of experience from off-road racing circuits around the world for 2 and 4 wheels. It is characterized by two diametrically opposed features:
- cut resistance: guarantees maximum mechanical grip and grip in dry conditions and higher puncture resistance along with longer service life
- wet chemical adhesion: there is no need to think about changing conditions, whether it will rain or whether there will be muddy and slippery sections on the track
PROWALL
Technology of protective reinforcement of the side of the tire for greater puncture resistance and more stable performance when using low air pressures in the tire. The added layer of nylon fabric through the braid on the sidewall not only increases the resistance against cutting and snapping, but also improves the overall behavior of the tire in turns and thus allows better control of the bike and more precise track keeping. These properties have been achieved without limiting the weight of the tire and the efficiency of power transmission from pedaling, so tires with this technology are ideal for use in racing XC deployment to aggressive Trail riding, when they are supplemented with a suitable skeleton (120tpi or 60tpi).
Pirelli
A world-famous Italian manufacturer that was founded in 1872. It focuses on the production of tires for cars, motorcycles and, from 2018, also for bicycles. It is the exclusive supplier of tires for Formula 1.

PSI - indicates the pressure to which the manufacturer recommends inflating the tire. 1 atmosphere = 14.7 PSI
TPI (EPI) - the density of the shell's skeleton fibres. The higher the TPI value, the more flexible and flexible the tire will be.
Kevlar tire - foot made of Kevlar fibres. The cover can be folded, so it is more practical when moving or storing. It is characterized by a lower weight compared to wire casings and a higher resistance to puncture.
Wire tire- bead made of wire. The shell is inflexible, it is heavier than the Kevlar one.
