The first real kids tire from Schwalbe.

Made for your child: the Little Joe from Schwalbe

He’s cool. The profile works on mountain bikes yet still rolls well on the road. The reflective label is prominent ensuring good visibility.

He‘s light. A folding tire with LiteSkin sidewall considerable weight is saved on the wheel. Most saving is in the size 37-406. It seems unusually narrow, but we deliberately manufacture and recommend this size, because the performance is more than adequate for kids bikes.

He‘s safe. The K-Guard and 50 EPI carcasses provide the necessary puncture protection.

  • The basis for all Active Line tires is the high-quality 50 EPI carcass. SCHWALBE no longer produces tires with a coarse 20 or 24 EPI carcass. In addition, K-Guard provides effective puncture protection for Active Line tires.

TPI (EPI) - the density of the tire's skeleton fibres. The higher the TPI value, the more flexible the tire will be.
Kevlar shell - foot made of Kevlar fibres. The tire can be folded, so it is more practical when moving or storing. It is characterized by a lower weight compared to wire casings and a higher resistance to puncture.
Wire tire- bead made of wire. The shell is inflexible, it is heavier than Kevlar.
