Soft nylon brush designed for final finishing of the ski base after waxing. It is used in the final stage of the service, when the wax has already been ironed, scraped and pre-brushed with coarser brushes. Its role is not to open the structure, but to smooth the glide, unify the surface and give it a clean, fast finish. The blue fine bristles ensure even polishing without aggressive intervention in the wax layer, making the glide smooth and legible.

Use in service procedure
It is used as the last step after:

  • scraping off the wax,
  • brushing with a brass or horsehair brush,
  • possibly with a white/harder nylon brush.

Practical recommendations

  • Brush in one direction only, from the tip to the tail of the ski
  • Do not use high pressure – the goal is polishing, not mechanical wax removal
  • Also ideal for quickly "reviving" the ski slope before starting

Finnish brand Rex has been making ski care since 1952, and in 2015 they also focused on bike care. Their Black Diamond lube won an independent laboratory test as "the most effective". Their offer also includes cleaners and vaseline.
