Colltex Hotmelt Tape Adhesive for ski alpine belts

The best way to restore the adhesive layer of a ski alpine belt - we achieve 100% efficiency of the original Hotmelt adhesive. Feasible in a home or service environment.

Glue recovery procedure:
  • We recommend applying the glue to a cleaned surface of the fabric (after removing the bad glue with a heat gun + spatula or an old iron)
  • We use a wooden board wider and longer than the belt, attach the belt to the board, cover it with paper and clean it.
  • Stick the foil onto the cleaned surface of the belt like adhesive tape and iron it for a reasonable amount of time with a clean iron - temperature approx. 250 °C.
  • Transfer paper can easily turn brown
  • Let the strips cool thoroughly (depending on the ambient temperature) before removing the transfer paper.
Product features
Due to the need for tools and electricity, we recommend performing this renovation at home or at a ski repair shop.
We recommend using the adhesive only on Colltex or Contour products.
