Silva Expedition 55 compass
The pinnacle of military compasses, it has a uniquely fine aiming optical system in 360° and 6400mils with an accuracy of ±0.5°, as well as a classic ring with a main scale in mils, for SILVA 1-2-3 System® navigation. In addition, it contains a range of very accurate map scales. The combination of a sapphire bearing and a hardened steel pin minimizes friction, allowing for fast and accurate compass movements. The base plate is equipped with a magnifying glass, silicone dots on the bottom for better work with the map, and a circular hole for drawing on the map. Luminescent dots on the base plate including the circumference of the ring for night navigation, use up to 4 hours after illumination with daylight or a flashlight. Safety lanyard - in case of a heavier load, the plastic connector disconnects, eliminating unwanted injuries. Includes scales for measuring the length of routes on the map. Attached card for determining slope gradient based on contour lines. Waterproof and resistant to falling from 1m onto a wooden floor. 5 year warranty.
