For all wanderers in the wind of Alpine, Patagonian and Himalayan walls, there is the universal and variable X-Light axe from Camp. The X-Light is a very light, well-balanced and durable axe for technical mountaineering. You stand at the end of the icy path with spikes stuck in the ice, contemplating the final snow-ice climb. You move forward and use an axe stuck into the snow up to your head to overcome the edge, providing you with some support and rolling onto the snow plateau.
In the distance, in the forest, you use the shovel of a pickaxe to build a station with an anchoring and securing point for picking up a partner. Then you simultaneously climb to the summit cross and enjoy a well-deserved rest. The Çakan X-Light differs from climbing ice axes in its angle of attack, which in this version is better for a smaller slope angle - for fast technical ascent/descent. The aluminum head allows for the installation of both a shovel (included in the base) and a hammer (CAMP X-Light Hammer). The hole in the head and tip allows the use of a standard loop and the hole in the spike is large enough to attach lanyards (X-gyro Leash). The three-piece handle provides several adjustment variations for perfect adjustment to the selected terrain. The tip of the X-Light axe tip is toothless, so it does not damage your gloves when using it in the field. X-Light is the most versatile axe for classic technical mountaineering of all difficulties.
