A modern multi-purpose rappelling brake that meets the strictest demands of rope access techniques and the requirements of professional rescue services. The patented internal mechanism combined with a robust forged construction and advanced ergonomics ensures exceptional control even over heavy loads (up to 210 kg for 2 people). In addition to its abseil function, the Giant is also certified as a mobile fall arrester (for rope traverses), a belay device, and a climbing belay device, making it the most advanced device of its kind on the market. A high level of safety is ensured by the "anti-panic" function, which automatically locks the brake if too much pressure is applied to the release lever, immediately stopping the descent or abseiling. Another feature you will appreciate is the manual locking of the brake on the rope (lever in FULL LOCK position) without the need for any additional actions. In situations where you need to ensure quick passage of the rope through the brake (without or with only a small load), you can use an external button to hold the cam in the open position. Of course, there is the option of attaching the brake to the rope without having to unhook the brake from the carabiner, thus preventing unwanted release. The large connection hole allows for the insertion of a second carabiner, which then completely prevents the brake from opening. The logical course of the rope, together with the clear external and internal representation, makes it easy to lay the rope.
