The now legendary Ferrino Snowbound tent line represents a purebred expedition tent, where durability and the ability to withstand even the harshest alpine weather play a major role.
The basis of Snowbound tents is an inner tent with a solid geodesic structure, which provides maximum safety and at the same time enough space for users. This is followed by a very durable outer raincoat, extended to the front and finished with snow collars. Tropiko creates a spacious apse at the front, significantly increasing the usable space of the tent. Thanks to two entrances, the back entrance can be used as the main one and the front entrance with an apse can be used as a practical space for storing equipment or cooking.
Of course, there are additional features such as ventilation holes and sleeves, internal pockets and loops for organizing small items, or extra reinforcement in corners and exposed areas, which further increases the durability and lifespan of the tent.

Ferrino always states the water column value in minimum guaranteed values, directly at the seams of the material (the most sensitive and weakest part of the tent). The water column is always at least 1.5 times higher than the surface area of the material.
