CAMP Megasonic poles, 115 - 135 cm
Camp Megasonic are robust folding trekking poles similar in construction to an avalanche probe ("Z-field"). The poles consist of 5 segments, which are on average stronger, stronger and more durable than the lightweight Camp Sonic ALU model and are comparable to the stiffness and strength of telescopic poles.
Thus, the poles can withstand rougher handling during more demanding expeditions. The internal guide wire, which can be used to adjust the stick's stiffness, is plastic-coated to increase its durability. The upper segment is equipped with a lockable clip for precise adjustment of the required length of the stick in the range of 115-135cm. The extended handle with a plastic head ensures a comfortable and safe grip, which you will appreciate especially in rugged terrain.
Ergonomically shaped loops for the left and right hand can be easily adjusted even when wearing gloves. Two sizes of cups are also included, which, together with the carbide tips, ensure firm support in all conditions. A big advantage of these robust sticks is that they can be packed to only 36 cm.
