Fenix ​​PD25R LED lamp

The Fenix ​​PD25R pocket rechargeable flashlight offers a luminous flux of up to 800 lumens (ANSI) and an afterglow of up to 250 meters. It is powered by a rechargeable battery type RCR123A (included in the package), which is charged directly in the lamp via the USB-C connector located on the side. The charging hole is covered with a screw nut, so it is perfectly protected against water and dirt. The accumulator can also be replaced in an emergency with a disposable CR123A battery. The top LED Luminus SST-20 with a lifespan of 50,000 hours is used as a light source. The end of the lamp is equipped with a tactical switch for quick on and off, power modes are switched with a second button on the side. The lamp has six lighting modes, including a flash stroboscope. In the lowest mode, it can last up to 70 hours. Thanks to the weight of only 78 grams, the lamp can be carried with you all the time (EDC) for normal everyday use, at work and during sports.

All lamp parameters (luminous flux, battery operation time, waterproofing, afterglow and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

The use

From the factory, there may be an insulating cap inside the lamp on the battery. Before first use , remove it from the battery.

To turn it on, press the tactical switch located at the end of the lamp, for immediate activation, hold the button. When the light is on, you can switch between power modes at any time during operation by pressing the side button near the head of the light. To switch to strobe mode, hold down the side button for about 0.5 seconds.

Charging - Unscrew the protective nut under the head of the lamp and use the included USB-C cable to connect it to a computer, a USB network adapter or a USB car adapter (not included in the package). Any mobile phone charger with a USB-C connector can also be used for charging. During charging, the indicator LED in the button lights up red, after full charge it lights up green. Charging a fully discharged battery takes about 2 hours. The used Li-ion battery does not suffer from a memory effect, so the lamp can be recharged at any time. During charging, the lamp can only be turned on in the lowest mode by holding down the side button for 0.5 seconds.

Intelligent protection against overheating - if the temperature of the lamp rises above 60 °C, it will automatically reduce the power in gradual steps.

Indication of the state of charge of the batteries - each time it is switched on, the indicator LED in the side button of the lamp is activated for three seconds. If the indicator light is green, the battery is charged to more than 85%. Green flashing means 50-85% capacity. If it lights up red, it is charged to 25-50%. Red flashing means that less than 25% of the battery capacity remains (only works when using Li-ion battery RCR123A / 16340).

Warning of discharged batteries - the lamp gradually automatically switches to the lowest mode, in the lowest mode the indicator LED in the button flashes red. This indicates the need to charge the battery or replace it with a fully charged one.

Warning

• Do not disassemble the sealed part in the lamp head yourself, this will void the warranty.
• Use only high-quality CR123A or RCR123A batteries.
• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after a long period of use, replace them. The rings must also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the lamp will be properly protected against water.
• If the light flickers, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, it may be for one of the following reasons:

• • The battery is almost empty - charge the battery or replace it.
  • The contacts inside the lamp are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
  • The back part of the lamp is loose - tighten it.
