Fenix LD22 V2.0 LED lamp

The latest generation of the Fenix ​​LD22 V2.0 lamp offers a luminous flux of up to 800 lumens (ANSI) and an afterglow of 214 meters. One Li-ion battery type ARB-L14-1100U with a capacity of 1100 mAh and a built-in charging USB-C connector (the battery is included in the package) is used for power supply, which provides energy for up to 220 hours of lighting in the lowest mode. If necessary, it can be replaced with two regular AA pencil batteries, with which, however, the maximum output is limited to 350 lumens. Furthermore, it can also be replaced with two Li-ion batteries of type 14500, with which the lamp works at a maximum output of 800 lumens. The lamp is fitted with a highly efficient Luminus SST-20 LED capable of lighting in seven modes, including strobe and SOS. You will appreciate its practicality in the home, at the cottage, at work, in the car, when camping and also as part of an evacuation package.

All lamp parameters (luminous flux, battery operation time, waterproofing, afterglow and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

The use

From the factory, there may be a black insulating cap inside the lamp on the battery. Before first use, remove it from the battery.

To turn it on, press the switch located at the end of the lamp, for immediate activation, hold down the button. By pressing the side button near the head of the lamp, you can cyclically switch between the five constant light modes at any time during operation. To switch to strobe mode, hold down the side button for about 0.5 seconds. Then press again to turn on S0S.

Intelligent protection against overheating - if the temperature of the lamp rises above 60 °C, it will automatically reduce the power in gradual steps until its temperature stabilizes. As soon as the temperature of the lamp drops below 60 °C, the power will automatically increase again to the original level.

Warning of exhausted batteries - the lamp will gradually automatically switch to the lowest mode, in the lowest mode it will flash three times every 5 minutes. This means that the battery needs to be charged.

Charging - remove the battery from the lamp, plug the USB-C cable into the side USB-C connector on the battery, plug the other end of the cable into a computer, power bank or USB adapter to the mains or USB car adapter (not included in the package). During charging, the light on the top of the battery lights up red. It lights up blue when fully charged.

Warning

• Do not disassemble the sealed part in the lamp head yourself, this will void the warranty.
• Remove the alkaline batteries from the lamp if you are not going to use it for a long time or if the batteries are already discharged. This will prevent the risk of batteries leaking and subsequent damage to the lamp.
• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after a long period of use, replace them. The rings must also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the lamp will be properly protected against water.
• If the light flickers, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, it may be for one of the following reasons:
  
  • The battery is dead - charge it or, if using disposable batteries, replace them.
  • The contacts inside the lamp are clogged - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
  • The head, body or back of the lamp is loose - add lubricant to the sealing rings and tighten both the head and the end of the lamp.
