The Fenix ​​E28R V2.0 rechargeable flashlight offers a luminous flux of up to 1700 lumens (ANSI) and an afterglow of up to 273 meters. It is one of the most powerful Fenix ​​lamps for one Li-ion battery type 18650, which can be recharged via the USB-C port directly on the body of the lamp without the need to remove it. However, in an emergency, the lamp can also be powered by two disposable CR123A batteries. Compared to the first generation, it also has a practical magnetic end for attaching to anything iron. The E28R V2.0 lamp has seven different lighting modes, which allow you to choose between high power and long endurance (almost 11 days of continuous lighting), there are also stroboscopic flashes for crisis situations and a warning light (Breathing light) in the button, which is also located battery charge status indication. This lamp is an ideal lighting tool with an excellent ratio of high performance, quality and price. The use

From the factory, there may be an insulating cap inside the lamp on the battery. Remove it from the battery before first use.

To turn on or off, hold down the side button for about 0.5 seconds. The lamp will always turn on in the last selected mode, with the exception of the highest mode and the strobe. You can switch power modes at any time during operation by pressing the side button. The stroboscope can be activated by holding the button for 1.2 seconds.

The control button can be locked so that it does not turn on by itself, e.g. when transporting in luggage - press the control button twice quickly (within 0.5 seconds). To unlock, quickly press the button twice again. Unwanted switching on can also be prevented by enabling the lamp body.

The 1-lumen warning light around the switch button can be turned on by quickly pressing the button three times when the light is off. Subsequent pressing of the button switches between four functions - red light -> green light -> red pulsation -> green pulsation.

Protection against overheating: If the temperature exceeds 60 °C, there will be an automatic reduction of power. As soon as the temperature drops below 60 °C, it is possible to use the highest performance modes again. Charging: Unfold the dust cover and plug the USB-C charging cable into the charging port of the lamp. After charging is complete, seal the dust cap again. Normal charging time is 3 hours with a 5 V/2 A USB source for a completely discharged lamp. During charging, the lamp can be used in 5 and 50 lumen modes. During charging, the indicator LED in the button lights up red. It lights up green when fully charged.

Battery charge status indication: After switching on, or after briefly pressing the button when the lamp is off, the LED indicator in the button is activated for 3 seconds. If the indicator light is green, the battery is charged to more than 85%. Green flashing means 50-85% capacity. If it lights up red, it is charged at 25-50%. Blinking red means less than 25% of battery capacity remains. Note: This function is only active when using 18650 batteries.

Low battery warning: If the voltage drops below the set level, the lamp will reduce the brightness to a lower level until it reaches 5 lumens. After reaching the lowest power, the LED indicator in the button starts flashing red to remind you to recharge or replace the battery. This function is only active when using 18650 batteries.

Warning

• Do not disassemble the sealed parts in the lamp head yourself, this will void the warranty.
• When using disposable CR123A batteries, do not try to charge them in the lamp.
• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after a long period of use, replace them. The rings must also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the lamp will be properly protected against water.
• If the lamp flashes, does not switch to higher modes, or does not light up, it may be for one of the following reasons:
  
  • The battery is almost empty - replace it or charge the accumulator.
  • The contacts inside the lamp are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
  • The end is loose - add lubricant to the sealing rings and tighten.
