Product description
One reflector creates a perfectly focused light beam with an afterglow of up to 170 meters, and the other reflector has a wide and continuous light trail. The luminous flux of the remote reflector is up to 1300 lumens. The wider reflector has a maximum output of 400 lumens and a neutral light shade. The control of both LEDs is independent of each other, so both reflectors can be combined at will to achieve a luminous flux of up to 1500 lumens (when both reflectors are switched on at the same time, their maximum output is 1150 + 350 lumens).
Both light sources, long and wide, offer three lighting modes. One Li-ion battery type 18650 with a capacity of 3400 mAh is used for the power supply, which is included in the package and is charged via a modern USB-C connector directly in the headlamp. In an emergency, the headlamp can also be powered by two disposable CR123A batteries.
The headlamp is made of magnesium alloy, which is one-third lighter than aluminium. Its construction is fully dustproof and waterproof to a depth of 2 meters according to the IP68 standard, and also shockproof when dropped from a height of 2 meters. The headlamp is equipped with an innovative function of extending endurance. During prolonged use of individual light modes, the headlamp gradually reduces power for a longer lighting time. However, the reduction in performance is not as significant as with the older HM65R headlamp. The optional light cone shape makes this model one of the best and most versatile charging headlamps on the market.
The novelty of this model is the fast system of tightening the strap with a rotating wheel, which is not only fast but also very convenient. The HM65R-T is especially enjoyable for trail running thanks to its lower weight and design. It is also suitable for professional use and other sports activities (hiking, camping, cycling, skiing, fishing, etc.) or for underground expeditions.
