The ORTOVOX TRACE 23 S backpack is one of the lightest ski mountaineering backpacks of the ORTOVOX brand. If you're a minimalist and looking for the easiest solution, look no further. ORTOVOX TRACE 23 S can offer both comfort when wearing and an extremely low weight of 440 g.

The removable 2FOAM back panel ensures even greater stability and protection or reduces the weight to a real minimum of 390g.

The ORTOVOX TRACE 23 S backpack is a ski mountaineering backpack designed for the most demanding ascents and steep descents.

Comfort even with minimal weight

The new ORTOVOX TOUR SERIES collection raises the bar again with the innovative removable 2FOAM back system. The 2FOAM back panel combines a soft outer foam that ensures wearing comfort and a stiffer inner foam that protects you from fall injuries that often occur when hitting the hard contents of a backpack. The ski mountaineering backpack ORTOVOX TRACE 23 S is also equipped with reflective elements, thanks to which you will see better in the morning gloom and late at night.

Comfort even in the extreme

Avalanche gear can be easily stored in the main compartment, which still leaves plenty of room for clothing and other essentials. The backpack will fit you exactly, so you won't have to worry about even the most technically demanding ascents. The shoulder straps are equipped with ventilation and can distribute the weight evenly.

In the version with a shorter back

The "S" version of the backpack is designed for people with a back length of 36 to 44 cm. However, the ORTOVOX TRACE backpack can also be purchased in a variant for those of you with a back length between 42 and 50 cm. The length of the back is counted from 7. cervical vertebra to the upper part of the pelvis. The backpack is not only modified in the length of the back, but also changes in the shape of the shoulder straps and adjustment of the waist belt. The backpack thus fits perfectly and holds more firmly on the back.

When speed matters

Thanks to the large mesh side pocket with two holes, you can immediately access drinks, energy bars and other small items without having to remove the backpack. The ORTOVOX TRACE 23 S backpack also offers technical details, without which soon you will not be able to imagine any ski mountaineering tour - these include the possibility of diagonal attachment of skis, a loop for an ice ax and hiking poles, or a built-in net for a helmet.

This legendary German company named Ortovox has been specializing in challenging mountain activities since 1980. They became popular, thanks to their avalanche transceiver ORTOVOX F2. It had a double frequency transceiver for searching avalanche victims.
