ORTOVOX Mesola Women's Pants

When the quest for the best powder requires a demanding ascent on skis, these women's pants are right at home. Thanks to an intelligent mix of breathable softshell and protective hardshell material, these lightweight freeride pants offer precisely the performance that the relevant body parts demand in the mountains. The calves and front thighs are protected from wind and weather by MERINO DEEP SHELL material with a high-performance DERMIZAX® NX membrane. The back thighs, seat, hips, and waistband are made of MERINO AIRSOLATION softshell material, which is not only soft, breathable, and wind- and water-repellent, but also provides great freedom of movement.

High Comfort and Functionality

The pants are made from a combination of waterproof three-layer material and highly breathable softshell. At the same time, they have a loose fit and are stretchy, allowing for maximum freedom of movement. The fine merino wool on the inside makes them very comfortable, ensures moisture and climate regulation, and prevents odor formation. Generous ventilation zippers, adjustable waistband cuffs, spacious pockets, and integrated snow gaiters contribute to the overall comfort and high functionality. The ORTOVOX MESOLA PANTS W are also PFC-free.

For Demanding Powder Tours

You will especially appreciate these pants when you set off for powder and freeride in more remote couloirs. During demanding ascents, you will appreciate their high breathability, and during descents in shady couloirs, their resistance to wind and moisture. These pants are not only highly functional, but their modern, athletic cut and fresh colors also give them a very cool look.

MERINO AIRSOLATION material - highly breathable, wind and water resistant, quick-drying, lightweight yet very abrasion resistant, two-way stretch, treated with PFC-free DWR water repellent finish - back of thighs, seat, hips and waist
Merino wool on the inside for maximum comfort and temperature and moisture regulation

Loose fit for comfortable layering and unrestricted movement in powder
Adjustable waist with side Velcro fasteners, nothing will press even in combination with a climbing harness. Zip and snap fastening
The anatomically shaped knee area fits better and does not restrict your movement
One side pocket with contrasting zipper
One large thigh pocket, in which you will find a light safety carabiner for attaching an avalanche transceiver
Zippered ventilation openings on the sides, together with excellent breathability, improve air circulation
Integrated gaiters for ski boots are on the inside of the trousers, ensuring maximum protection against snow ingress
The bottom of the trousers is reinforced to withstand ski edges or crampons

This legendary German company named Ortovox has been specializing in challenging mountain activities since 1980. They became popular, thanks to their avalanche transceiver ORTOVOX F2. It had a double frequency transceiver for searching avalanche victims.
