Light models of the Devold WOOL MESH sports base layer quickly and reliably wick moisture away from the body, retain heat to a high degree and are characterized by breathability. The quick-drying properties ensure that your body stays dry and warm, even if you sweat a lot.
Pants knitted from thick woolen fabric. The mesh is flexible and does not restrict freedom of movement. The knit structure has fewer points of contact with the skin. The mesh knit has a smaller area in contact with the skin, which creates an additional insulating thin layer of air between the bib and the body and also in the knit itself. The pants are made entirely of mesh to ensure better breathability, quick drying and wicking sweat away from the body.

Norse company Devold produces wool base layers. In 1853, Ole Andreas Devold founded this company in Ålesund. A tradition dating back as this one is unique - it is surely the oldest producer of the wool base layer in the world.
Devold's base layers range from the light collection ''Breeze'' (which is best for the warmer months and sweatier activities) to the ''Expedition'' collection (best for very cold conditions). Other than base layers for every activity, they also make sweaters, headwear, gloves, socks and more.
