Fenix HL32R-T Rechargeable Headlamp
The Fenix HL32R-T rechargeable headlamp is characterized by its low weight and a unique construction with two reflectors. The main reflector creates a well-focused beam with a power of 800 lumens and a range of up to 132 meters. The second reflector with a power of 200 lumens has a very wide and smooth light pattern with a range of 30 meters, and also has a warmer light tone (neutral white). The advantage of this light tone is a more natural and contrasting color rendering, not only in nature. The control of both LEDs is independent (however, the beams cannot be combined). The battery can be removed and, in case of emergency, replaced with three standard AAA batteries (however, these cannot be charged in the headlamp).Thanks to its lighter weight and construction, the headlamp is particularly interesting for trail running. It is also suitable for other sports activities (hiking, climbing, camping, cross-country skiing, fishing...). It will surely serve you well in every situation!
All headlamp parameters (luminous flux, battery runtime, waterproofness, beam distance, and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.
It is possible to purchase the Fenix APB-20 case, the large Fenix APB-30 case, a USB mains adapter and a USB car adapter, a USB adapter supporting fast charging, and a colored luminous USB-C cable for the headlamp. You can also order a replacement strap without a tightening wheel in several color variants.
Using the Fenix HL32R-T Headlamp
The distance reflector is turned on by pressing and holding the right button (approx. 0.5 s) and always starts in the last used mode. The wide reflector is turned on by pressing and holding the left button (0.5 s) and always starts in the lowest mode. Light functions are switched by briefly pressing the respective button. Both reflectors cannot be turned on simultaneously. The headlamp is turned off by pressing and holding either button (approx. 0.5 s).Battery charge level indication - by briefly pressing either button (the headlamp must be off), the battery charge level indicator between the buttons is activated. Four illuminated LEDs mean the battery is charged at 80-100%, three illuminated at 60-80%, two at 40-60%, one indicates 20-40%, and one flashing means the battery is charged at less than 20%.
Control buttons can be locked to prevent accidental activation, e.g., during transport in luggage - with the headlamp off, press and hold one or both buttons for at least 3 seconds, then the headlamp will flash, indicating it is locked. To unlock, press and hold both buttons for three seconds again.
Overheating protection - if the headlamp temperature exceeds 65 °C, it will automatically start reducing its output in gradual steps until the temperature stabilizes. Once the temperature drops below 65 °C, it will be possible to switch back to higher output modes.
Charging - open the USB-C connector cover and plug in the included charging cable, connect the other end of the cable to a computer, power bank, or a USB mains or car adapter (not included). During charging, the status LEDs indicate the charging progress. After charging is complete, all four LEDs are lit. The headlamp can only be used in low power mode during charging.
Using the rotary wheel to adjust the length of the head strap - To tighten the strap, push the wheel and turn it clockwise. To loosen the strap, pull the wheel out and loosen the strap.
Notice
- Do not disassemble sealed parts yourself, as this will void the warranty.
- Use only the original Li-ion ARB-LP1900 battery; in case of using disposable AAA batteries, do not attempt to charge them in the headlamp.
- If the headlamp flashes, does not switch to higher output modes, or does not turn on, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The battery is discharged - charge it or replace it.
- The contacts inside the headlamp are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
