Waterproof membrane DERMIZAX® NX
DERMIZAX® NX is a non-porous membrane manufactured by the Japanese company Torey. Ease of maintenance, long service life and pleasant lining are the main reasons why you should be interested in this membrane . Despite its low weight, it has excellent breathability and water resistance. Taped seams offer maximum water resistance and the entire jacket has a water-repellent DWR treatment.- DERMIZAX® NX is a 100% windproof membrane.

Perfect freedom of movement
The ORTOVOX WESTALPEN 3L JACKET is robust, has an excellent cut and is made of Dermizax® NX stretch membrane. The athletic cut of this hardshell jacket fits perfectly, does not hinder movement, and the hood is compatible with a helmet.Refined ergonomics of the jacket
The ergonomically shaped sleeves can be pulled down using Velcro cuffs. The waist and hood can be tightened with integrated laces. The drawstrings are hidden in the tunnels, so they won't bother you in the wind. You can also wear the hood over a mountain climbing helmet.The collar is high so that even when looking up, your face is perfectly protected. On the inside of the collar (on the chin) you will find the MERINO 120 TEC material, which is very pleasant to the touch. MERINO 120 TEC absorbs moisture from the breath, does not freeze and is pleasant even after getting wet.
The details make up the whole
The jacket has two large pockets in which you can hide a map, topo and other necessary things. The pockets are raised, so you can get into them through the waist belt of the backpack or the seat harness. On the chest you will find one smaller pocket with a zipper, used for a smartphone or GPS.There are ventilation holes in the armpits, which, together with excellent breathability, improve air circulation. The vents have long two-way zippers. All seams are taped and along the main zipper there is a welt that drains water and keeps you dry. The main zipper of the ORTOVOX WESTALPEN 3L JACKET is two-way, which you will appreciate especially when you are wearing a seat.
