Protective base layer
The Resistance Layer tights act as a protective base layer for skiers and snowboarders. By adding a new type of Dyneema ® with stretch developed specifically for POC, the base layer contains one of the strongest fibers in the world, providing protection against the sharp edges of the skis. The tights are certified according to the European cut resistance standard EN388-2016, level 3 (of 5).

Wool for comfort
The base layer uses a wool/polyester blend in a double knit construction so the wool sits next to the body for added comfort. The elastic waistband ensures that the base layer stays comfortably and securely in place all day on the mountain.

Dyneema cut-resistant zones cover the areas on the legs most at risk of lacerations.

Underpants POC
Swedish brand POC, established in 2005, has a mission of protecting people on bikes, skis or snowboards. They focused mainly on downhill skiing. Later, they used their gained skills in other sports, mainly on bikes. POC has won many awards thanks to its design. Currently, they offer helmets, eyewear and a wide offer of apparel. Their products can be seen on the World Tour.
