Petzl TOP chest harness
The TOP chest harness is used together with the seat harnesses AVAO SIT, AVAO SIT FAST, FALCON, FALCON MOUNTAIN and SEQUOIA SRT, by combining it, it extends their use to full-body fall arrest harnesses. The padded shoulder straps are cut wide to prevent neck chafing. When the belt is loaded with suspended equipment, it helps distribute the load on the shoulders. It also has mounts to accommodate the connectors on the fall arrester connector loops.
- Converts AVAO SIT, AVAO SIT FAST, FALCON, FALCON MOUNTAIN and SEQUOIA SRT seat harnesses into fall arrest harnesses
- It attaches to the buckle on the back of the belt and to the front attachment point of the harness
- Padded shoulder straps are cut wide to prevent chafing of the neck when the belt is tightened, helping to distribute the load on the shoulders
- Shoulder straps equipped with DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles for quick and easy adjustment
- Mounts for MGO connectors on the drop-absorbing connector loops on each shoulder strap allow the connectors to be stowed away so they don't get in the way of work while still being within reach.
- In the event of a fall, this system releases the MGO connectors and enables the fall shock absorber to be activated
