Choosing the right plaque, anchor or bolts, is crucial for the safety and success of your climbing. Here are some features to consider when choosing the right anchor point:

  • Material: Steel or stainless steel is usually used, it is durable and wear-resistant, so it is suitable for screws and hinges. Consider whether the anchors will be used outdoors or indoors on an artificial wall, or whether they will be exposed to the sun, moisture, frost, salt, etc.
  • Size and shape: Choose anchor points that have a wide opening and have an ergonomic shape for easy fastening of carabiners.
  • Rock type: Different rocks may require different types of anchors and anchors. Soft or loose rock may not be suitable for all types of installation or may require bonding and other techniques.
Safety should always be the highest priority. If you are not sure about the choice or placement of the anchor, ask for advice from experienced climbers.
